Resident/Non-Resident Fees: Much of the cost for providing the activities and programs in this guide comes from taxes paid by City of Jackson residents. Nearly half of our program participants, however, live outside the city and do not pay city taxes. To share the burden of program expense, non-city residents' fees are double those charged to city residents. Non-residents also can buy an annual resident member card for $60 and then participate in as many programs as they like at the same rate city residents pay. Each family member must have his or her own card.
Cancellation: Classes need a minimum number of participants and may be cancelled due to insufficient registration..
Refunds: Refunds will be given up to three working days before the start of class. All refunds initiated by the participant will have a $2 service charge. If a class does not get enough participants and is cancelled, a full refund will be given.
Participation: Those enrolled in a class who are unable to participate due to extreme circumstances will be allowed to enroll in a later class at no charge.
Injuries: JRPD is not responsible for injuries incurred while participating in any of its activities.
Class Size: Classes will be filled ion a first-come, first-serve basis. Names will be placed on a waiting list when classes reach capacity.
