LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON
ANNEXATION AND PROPOSED PLAN OF SERVICE

The Jackson City Council will hold a public hearing on the above-illustrated annexation (see public notices on Planning Page) and proposed plan of service for an annexation area identified as “Emerald Breeze”, comprising 1.30± acres. The area is generally described as being located at the northeast quadrant of the intersection of Cooper Anderson Road and Broad Meadow Drive. The proposed zoning for “Emerald Breeze” annexation area is RS/PRD (Single Family Residential/Planned Residential Development) District.

The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at City Hall, 109 East Main Street, Suite 107 at 9:00 AM in the George A. Smith meeting room. All interested parties are invited to attend.

A copy of the proposed plan of service for the “Emerald Breeze” annexation area is available for public inspection during normal business hours in City Hall, at the office of the Jackson Planning Department, 111 East Main Street, Suite 201, Jackson, Tennessee. Public notice is hereby given that an ordinance will be introduced at a public hearing before the Council of the City of Jackson. The purpose of which is to rezone property located on the northeast quadrant of Cooper Anderson Road and Broad Meadow Drive, from RS-1 (Single Family Residential) District to RS-1/PRD (Single Family Residential/Planned Residential Development) District, comprising 1.03± acres. The Ordinance is on file in the Planning Department and may be examined during normal business hours. This Ordinance will be heard and considered for adoption at the regular meeting of the Jackson City Council to be held at City Hall, 109 East Main Street, Suite 107 on the 5th day of March 2019 at 9:00 AM in the George A. Smith meeting room.

The purpose of which is to rezone newly annexed property referred to as “Emerald Breeze Annexation Area”, comprising 1.30 acres, more or less, from county zoning classifications of FAR (Forestry Agriculture Recreation) District to a city zoning classification of RS-1/PRD (Single Family Residential/Planned Residential Development) District, property generally located at the northeast quadrant of the intersection of Cooper Anderson Road and Broad Meadow Drive. A legal description of this area is on file in the City of Jackson Planning Department, 111 East Main Street Suite 201 in Jackson, Tennessee and may be examined during normal business hours. This Ordinance will be heard and considered for adoption on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the regular meeting of the Jackson City Council to be held at City Hall, 109 East Main Street, Suite 107 at 9:00 AM in the George A.
