District 7 boundaries are generally west of the Hwy 45 Bypass and north of Interstate 40. A small portion of the district is south of Interstate 40 and east of the Hwy 45 bypass.

Being in the northwest quadrant of the city, both residential and commercial development is booming in the district. There are numerous residential subdivisions in the district that are currently being actively developed. In addition, Vann Drive and The Columns retail development area are included in District 7.
