August 10, 2004 MEETING
AUGUST 10, 2004
The Jackson, Tennessee City Council met for a called meeting at 9:00 a.m. on August 10, 2004, in the George A. Smith Meeting Room at City Hall with Mayor Charles Farmer and Council members John Bannister; Charles “Pepper” Bray; Ernest Brooks, II; Harvey Buchanan; David Cisco; Johnny Lee Dodd; Maurice Hays; Gerry Neese; and Charles Rahm present. Also present was Toni Ross, recorder of the minutes.
Council member Ernest Brooks, II gave the invocation and led the audience in the pledge of allegiance to the flag.
Marci Harris, Tornado Recovery Coordinator for the City of Jackson, gave a presentation of the progress and plans for redevelopment from the May 4, 2003 tornadoes.
City Council members thanked Ms. Harris for her tireless efforts and exemplary dedication to the recovery efforts of the City of Jackson.
Valerie Horton was introduced as the Project Management Consultant for the Anderson Creek mitigation project.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
