 Gang Enforcement Team
Goals and Objectives of the Gang Enforcement Team
- To identify various groups involved in criminal street gang activity in the City of Jackson and target them for criminal prosecution
- To gather intelligence and document known gang members
- To use intelligence to garner evidence of continued criminal activity in reference to gang members
- To work in conjunction with other local, state, and federal agencies in a concerted effort to eradicate gang activity
- To work with the community to develop gang awareness and intervention programs
- To conduct pro-active patrol of high crime areas within the City of Jackson
