The City of Jackson Health and Sanitation Department encompasses health codes enforcement, garbage collection, animal control, vector control, dead animal pickup, and landfill management.

H & S is now responsible for all leaf collection and debris removal from the streets. Leaf collection has begun and the public is encouraged to call 425-8545 or 425-CITY if leaves are raked to the curb.

Commercial garbage accounts can now be paid on line.
