The City of Jackson Fire Department is committed to provide the highest level of life and property safety in an efficient and cost effective manner. The Department strives to meet this task by providing the following programs: Fire Suppression, Emergency Medical Services, Public Fire Education and Fire Prevention Services, Fire Investigation, Hazardous Materials Response and Special Rescue Operations.

The men and women of the Department are proud to be employed by the City of Jackson and stand ready to provide the highest level of service possible for it’s citizens. Constant training, evaluation and excellent equipment ensure that fire personnel are always ready to serve.
