The City of Jackson Information Systems department is comprised of seven technicians with over 90 years of combined experience. They implement and maintain all computer and telecommunication operations for the entire municipal government and support staff in 25 facilities.
The mission of the Information Systems Department is to serve internal customers (city employees) in order that they may better serve the community. This requires a great deal of teamwork and cross-training. Our network continues to grow exponentially each year as more and more users are brought online and more platforms are added to ensure that the technology Jackson, Tennessee needs tomorrow is in place today.
