Marda Wallace is a life-long West Tennessean, born in South Fulton, earned a degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Upon graduation she moved to Jackson in 1982. She is married to Bryan and they have two sons Tyler 25 and Will 16.
Marda was an Executive Account Representative with the top legal reference material corporation, the Bureau of National Affairs. While working for BNA she maintained the top 10% in the country, and served on the Presidents Board. Marda also received the Honor Club award which was the top 10 in the country.
Marda has been active in the community She was: President, Treasurer and Fund-Raising Chair for the Jackson Service League; President and Fund-Raising Chair of the USJ Academic Support Group; Board Member of the Therapy and Learning Center (formally the Cerebral Palsy Center); Case Worker for the Carl Perkins Child Abuse Center; and President and Fund-Raising Chair for the Jackson Cotillion Club. Marda also served as a board member for Aspell Recovery Center. She is a member of Fellowship Bible Church.
